Free Toddler Activity 6: Sorting and Labelling

This is the sixth free toddler activities. Try doing it with your child.
I hope you will enjoy it as you have fun in the previous free toddler activities.


Target Lesson: Sorting and labeling of fruits, vegetables, animals
Materials:

Basket/Box
Plastic fruits
Plastic vegetables
Plastic Animals

Step 1:

Mix in 1 box or basket the fruits, vegetables, animals
Mommy ask Rian to sort them by type:
          Mommy: In the left side put all animals as mommy points the location
          Rian: my child will look at the basket and get all the animals and put them all in the left side
          Mommy: In the center put all the fruits as mommy points the location
          Rian: my child will look at the basket and get all the fruits and put them all in the center side
         Mommy: In the right side put all the vegetables as mommy points the location
          Rian: my child will look at the basket and get all the fruits and put them all in the center side

Step 2:

Mommy ask rian to pack-away but before putting them in the basket Mommy ask for each item:

        What vegetable is this?
        What fruit is this?
        What animal is this?

Of course we finish the activity with our chant:

Shake your shoulder! Shake Shake!

            Hi five!

Give her imaginary star on the hands
