This educational toy is a great way to enhance children’s receptive language skill and motor imitation skill. It also encourages young children to care for others the way toddlers care, cradle, dress their baby dolls.

Fun Activity:

Mommy can introduce to their children imaginative play. You can do a lot of fun activities using a doll. Some dolls come with dresses and bottles. Children love to do to their doll what their mommies do to them. Here are sample activities:

Ask your toddler to act out action words using her doll. For instance, tell your child to dress their baby doll. Encourage your child to talk to her baby doll. This way she can practice to apply action words. When I ask my toddler to dress her baby, she get two dresses and said: baby want red or blue? I smiled when I heard her. Giving our child choices will enhance their decision making capabilities.

We also use the doll to review the body parts. As your toddler to point her baby doll’s head, hair, mouth etc….Another way is that Mommy points the part of the body and ask you toddler what is the body part.
