This to share with you the list of words that my child learned to use in her day to day activities. Let me remind that my child is diagnosed with mixed expressive and receptive Language delay with behavior concern. Mommies developmental delay child would understand how proud I should be with my child latest achievement. The list is not much but what I am proud most is the confidence that my child is projecting when she is talking now.
I must say that the daily short activity in her school encourages her to gain the confidence. In her new school-Kidspace, they sing the national anthem, do exercise, sing songs with actions, and interpret songs. All of these activities have leaders for every level so all students have a chance to be a leader. It was unexpected but my child enjoys leading in front her classmates. I am so proud of her and very thankful with her teacher because even if my child cannot sing the lyrics of the song well they let her lead almost everyday.
As I am observing she is also shouting now when she calls a person whom she thinks is too far to hear her. Thanks to her playmates. We now live near her cousin houses who were 10 and 8 years old. They are now her constant playmates. Playing with other children encourages her to talk more.
These are the words that can be identified and are being used by my toddler.
